About Tabi Connect — Built by Brokers, for Brokers
About Tabi Connect

Built by brokers.
For brokers.

Tabi Connect is the only independent, full-stack Rate Management System built for freight brokers. We automate the entire quoting workflow — from inbound shipper request to priced quote — and give pricing teams the intelligence to win more profitable freight and protect margin on every load.

Independent & fully focused
The only Rate Management System built exclusively for freight brokers — not a feature added to a TMS, not a module inside a larger platform. One product, one focus.
Industry credibility
Our team built the pricing technology brokers have relied on for decades. Joel McGinley helped create DAT RateView — the rate benchmark the industry still prices against today.
Proven at scale
100+ logistics companies including 30+ of the Top 100 U.S. brokerages. Six FreightWaves Best in Show wins. $100M+ in gross revenue autonomously bid every year.
What We Do

Every channel freight
comes in on. One system.

Tabi connects to the rating engines brokers price against, the email and internal communication tools where quotes actually move, the TMS that runs the operation, and directly into shipper TMS systems where the freight originates.

Pricing teams get a faster quoting workflow without changing how the rest of the brokerage operates.

Rating engines
DAT, Greenscreens, Truckstop, C4, and others — the market data sources brokers price against every day
Email & communication tools
Outlook, Gmail, Front, Slack, Teams — where freight quotes actually move inside a brokerage
Broker TMS platforms
McLeod, TMW, Revenova, and others — the systems that run the operation stay as the system of record
Shipper TMS & bid boards
88+ platforms via API and RPA — e2open, Blue Yonder, Walmart, Navisphere, and more
The People Behind It

Careers spent inside freight.
Not adjacent to it.

Tabi was founded by two people who have spent their careers inside transportation pricing and logistics operations — not as observers, not as consultants brought in from outside the industry.

Co-Founder · Chief Strategy Officer

Joel has worked in transportation and pricing technology since the early 1980s. He built Transportation Carrier Services into the largest service bureau in the western U.S. and sold it to DAT, where he ran new product development and later helped create DAT RateView — the rate benchmark much of the brokerage industry still prices against today.

In the decades since, through roles at Truckstop.com and his own firm TranStrategy Partners, he has advised transportation companies on how to scale profitably. Few people have spent as long thinking about how freight gets priced.

Ricky Gonzalez
Co-Founder · Chief Executive Officer

Ricky brings more than 20 years in transportation and logistics, and an obsession with two things in particular: freight pricing and automation. Pricing was his early edge — knowing how to price freight is what grew his own brokerage, which he later sold. Along the way he built and operated ventures across trucking, import and export, and fulfillment. He was prototyping pricing automations with AI years before it became standard in the industry.

In 2018 he co-founded Hubtek and scaled it into an automation and workforce partner for hundreds of brokerages and carriers, learning firsthand where brokers lose time and margin in the day-to-day grind of quoting and operations. In 2023 he led the spinoff of Tabi Connect to turn that operating knowledge into software.

Why We Built It

Pricing is the decision that
moves margin most.
It was the least supported.

For most brokers, pricing still happens in spreadsheets, inboxes, and the gut feel of whoever is on the desk that day. The pricing decision a broker makes on every load is the one that moves margin most — and it has been the least supported part of the workflow for too long.

We built Tabi to change that. We automate quoting across every channel freight comes in on and give pricing teams the visibility to quote with confidence and protect margin. The result is a brokerage that quotes faster, wins more of the freight it competes for, and understands its own pricing better than the market does.

"Pricing stopped being the bottleneck and became the advantage."
